After working in different spas and health clubs in New York and Colorado, Heather started her own practice in 2004.
An active snowboarder, hiker and regular yoga practitioner, she has also spent many years as a dancer, which she feels has given her a better understanding of the human body. Heather believes her goal as a massage therapist is to help as many people as possible enjoy happy, healthy, pain-free lives.
I think of massage as one way of trying to achieve deep inner peace. It allows you to go inside and just be with yourself. It helps you to become more in tune with your body. In our busy lives we lose touch with ourselves and massage allows you to get that back.
Heather also likes to educate her clients on other ways to reduce stress including exercise, yoga and diet and bring health consciousness into their everyday lives.
